OPPORTUNITY DESCRIPTION
On-line Gallery | Backstage Gallery Small Works Gallery at the Art Center
May 1 - June 30, 2023
The Award-Winning Art Center in Dover, New Hampshire announces a Call for Entry to a juried exhibition titled: "Small Works". The exhibition will consist of works 16 inches or smaller in any direction and is open to artists that work in all mediums. Framed work should remain no larger than 16 inches.
DATES:
Submissions Due – April 1, 2023
Artist Fee: $25 Non Member $15 Members
Payment - Art Call
Notifications Made – April 2, 2023
Delivery of Work – Shipped or hand delivered no later than April 21, 2023
Opening – May 1
Closing - June 30, 2023
GUIDELINES:
Artists must be 18 years or older
Artists must be from New Hampshire, Maine or Massachusetts
Artists working in any media are welcome to enter up to (3) original works per artist will be accepted.
Up to three 2-D or 3-D recent works, no larger than 16” in any direction (frame included) may be submitted per artist. Digital submitted electronically should be JPEGs only. The JPEG file must be 300dpi at least 1200 pixels in one direction.
All artwork must be for sale
Small works gallery commission on sales is 30%.
SELECTED ARTWORK:
Selected works must be delivered ready to hang/install.
Artwork misrepresented or considered unsuitable for presentation will be refused.
DELIVERY AND SHIPPED ARTWORK:
Deadlines for delivered and shipped works are firm.
Delivery of accepted pieces will only be received during the stated days/hours.
All work must be packaged in a manner that allows the materials to be re-used for return.
Shipped works must be accompanied by a prepaid, return shipment label.
ENTRY FEE
Members $15 | Non-member $25 nonrefundable fee per entry entitles the submission of up to three images (one image per artwork).

AGREEMENT: The Art Center reserves the right to photograph an accepted work for publication and publicity purposes.
